PitchLab is my favorite tuner app because you can program in the actual bagpipe scale. A regular guitar or violin tuner uses equal temperament, which is wrong for the pipes — PitchLab lets you enter the exact cents offset for every note so it matches how we really tune a chanter.
Everything starts from your low A, not from a fixed pitch number. You calibrate the tuner to whatever your low A actually is that day, and every other note is judged relative to that — your overall pitch will drift with temperature, and that's normal.
One tuner now handles both chanter and drones, with a split-screen display I really like. PitchLab replaced two separate apps for me — I can see the note name and a steady-line display at the same time, which makes it easy to judge both pitch and steadiness of blowing.
