Tuning alternates constantly between playing, tuning the drones, and tuning the chanter. I tune the outside tenor drone by ear-assisted reference with the InTune mic and BRA tuner, then tune the other drones by ear, cycling back to the chanter as the pipes warm up and stabilize.
