A Weekend with Master Galician Piper Carlos Núñez
⚡ The Short Version
Learn from a master piper and explore the connections between Galician and Scottish piping traditions. After attending a master class on Galician music, a performance opportunity arose to play with Carlos Núñez and his band, showcasing cultural connections between Celtic music traditions.
Adapt your instrument and tuning to match different performance requirements. The performance required tuning to B flat 442 instead of standard pitch, using a different chanter with adjusted reed placement and extensive electrical tape for precise tuning.
