The fourteenth embellishment: The Darado or Bubbly Note

The number of notes and embellishments we use in pipes tunes is quite limited. We have: 9 notes grace notes and strikes 9 doublings (one for each note) 4 bottom hand, Low G based movements: grip, taorluath, d throw and birl. That's it for 99.9% of pipe tunes. 9 notes, gracenotes/strikes, 13 embellishments. Today's focus is the seldom seen and very unique-sounding fourteenth movement, the Darado. It's also called the Bubbly Note. It's a low G based movement most commonly found in strathspeys and piobaireachd.
