Today's post features two versions of the well-known Irish tune The Dawning of the Day. It's often played as a 4/4 March and very popular with soloists and pipe bands. The second version is a Slow Air version based on the same melody but played with extensive embellishments and rhythmic ornamentation giving it a beautiful lyrical sound. The air version has become very popular with pipe bands at many levels. Included is a complete recording of each tune, a complete audio lesson on each tune with detailed tips on what to do and not do with the tune, and the sheet music. Enjoy!
