Today's focus: listen and evaluate your recordings and make a plan for deliberate practice going forward. You will want to have 60 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete today's objectives. Grab your notebook (or a fresh page from your Daily Success Log) and your favorite pen or pencil. You will be listening to each of your recordings three times — with a different objective each time. Listen through #1: First Impressions The first time you listen to your recording, write down whatever comes to mind. Be honest, don't over think things, just react to what you hear. Much of what you hear will be different from how it felt at the time you were playing it. Listen straight through and don't pause or rewind. Write down everything that comes to mind. Write quickly. Just respond to what you hear. Your comments can be about specific skills or general feelings and observations. Take a few minutes ...
