I just read this fascinating article on CNN.com about some of the latest science on music and it's wide-ranging benefits for people who play and listen to music. Read the whole article here. Some of the article's highlights: Why is music so prevalent and universal amongst the world's cultures? Music helps kids remember basic facts such as the order of letters in the alphabet. When you play music, you are exercising your brain in a unique way.
