Pain in my jaw!

My name is Ray Morrison and I've been playing the pipes for many years. About a month ago I developed a severe pain in my right cheekbone; at first, I thought it was just another ache (I'm sixty-eight and pains are a part of getting old) and didn't think it too serious. I was a competitor in Jori's online piping and drumming competition and I was in the process of recording my last video when my jaw became extremely painful, and locked in placed for several seconds. Now I knew it was time to see the doctor. He diagnosed it as Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ), in layman's terms it is the cheekbone irritating the muscle in the cheek, and he recommended I take some time off playing the pipes. I contacted Jori and asked if he had heard of this ailment and he said he had on occasion, experienced it, and knew of other pipers ...
