Today's video is Part 6 of the Learn the Pipes video series and introduces the first part of your first tune: Scots Wha Hae. Scots Wha Hae is a beautiful 6/8 slow air. Many pipers learn it as their first tune. Start with the first part. A "part" is a musical section of a pipe tune that usually consists of two lines of four bar each. Looking at the sheet music, you will notice the 6/8 time signature and rhythm combinations we looked at in the previous lesson.
