Some of the most beautiful spots in the world for playing pipes can also be some of the most challenging, when the weather turns bad. The ideal environment for piping would be a consistent warm temperature and moderate humidity level. While the weather is out of our immediate control, we can take steps to be prepared. Prepare your instrument in the days and weeks ahead, so that on the day of the competition or performance you can get warmed up and ready in the shortest amount of time possible.
