Today, we start a new feature for the BagpipeLessons.com Studio, our first-ever Featured Piper of the Day: J. David Hester of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. David recently placed first in the Grade 3 Piobaireachd event in the BagpipeLessons.com Online Piping Competition for Spring 2011. David played the modern Piobaireachd The Field of Gold, by Pipe Major Donald MacLeod.
