I thought I would discuss preparing for my competition on Saturday in Springfield, Illinois. I'm competing in the grade 2 piobaireachd. I have to submit 2 full piobaireachds. I'm going out with Too Long in This Condition and The Little Spree. I spend my mornings working on the tricky bits and then in the evening I play through both full tunes. The tricky bits are in my crunluath. I was playing the E gracenote way too big and then I thought that there wasn't a big E in my taorluaths. So, I started thinking taorluath with F gracenote and I fixed the big E, but I wasn't connecting it smoothly. So, I've been working on that a lot. I have also been having trouble with a dodgy F.
