The modern piper has several different options to choose for pipe bags. Traditionally, pipers used hide bags made from sheepskin or cow leather. These days, pipers also have a variety of synthetic bags to choose from. Check out this video demonstration and explanation of the features of three types of pipe bags: the traditional sheepskin bag the Bannatyne hybrid leather and synthetic bag with a zipper the new Bannatyne inverted hybrid bag There are several options for the Bannatyne bag, including size, water trap style (it comes with one of two options), and zipper placement (either side or bottom). I play a small with the bottom zipper. You should choose the bottle trap. What kind of pipe bag do you play? What size? What do you like/dislike about it?
